Thirty-fourth community cases of COVID-19 take tally to 1,739

VGP - Viet Nam reported 34 new community infection cases of COVID-19 on Saturday morning, bringing the patient tally to 1,739.

The latest patients include 32 in Hai Duong and two in Quang Ninh.

Since January 25, the number of local infections rose to 162 and 17 in Hai Duong and Quang Ninh, respectively.

In a bid to help front liners to contain spread of the new strain, the Ministry of Health asked those who work at the Poyun company in plot B2-1, Cong Hoa Industrial Park in Cong Hoa Ward, Chi Linh City since the beginning of January to contact the nearest health facilities for advice and support.

Those who have travel record to the Van Don International Airport in Quang Ninh since January 15 also need to quickly contact the nearest health facilities for advice and support.
