Fifty-five new COVID-19 cases take national tally to 9,158
VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed two imported COVID-19 cases and 53 local infections on Tuesday afternoon, raising the national patient tally to 9,158.

The two imported cases are Vietnamese returning to the country on June 6 via a border gate in the southern province of An Giang.
The domestic cases were recorded in Bac Giang (21), Bac Ninh (15), Ho Chi Minh City (14), Ha Noi (two), and Ha Tinh (one).
The ministry also said 40 patients were declared free of the virus, bringing the total recoveries to 3,549./.
