VGP – The Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee has officially resumed intra-provincial tourism activities and some other types of services after it has gone 31 days without a single community infection case of COVID-19.

Coffee shops, restaurants, eateries, culture & sports services, gyms, fitness centers, yoga studios, and billiards clubs have all been permitted to resume operations.
However, bars, karaoke parlors, dance clubs, pubs, massage parlors, and online game rooms remain closed until further notice.
Meanwhile, local golf courses have also reopened to the local players.
Service and tourism establishments in the province are requested to strictly comply with anti-pandemic measures, as well as the commitments and binding responsibilities of heads of establishments.
The Provincial People’s Committee also asks subordinate levels to make detailed decisions on resuming services and activities in their respective administrative units, and to be responsible for management, inspection and monitoring.
Quang Ninh’s tourism industry will coordinate and propose solutions to welcome tourists from pandemic-free areas and healthy visitors from across the country to quickly and strongly restore tourism and service activities during the summer of 2021 and beyond.
In addition, tourism stimulus programs and unique, safe and effective tourism products will be developed, together with the encouragement of tours providing package services (including SARS-CoV-2 testing service to reduce costs and create optimal conditions for tourists to have health checkups, thus ensuring safety for the community). The province is planning to publicize safe travel tours, routes, and programs nationwide before June 11, 2021.
Local authorities are now continuing to strengthen control at inter-sectoral checkpoints for people and vehicles entering the province, as well as reviewing and tracing contacts regarding cases related to COVID-19 outbreaks nationwide, in order to create the most favorable conditions for transport and goods consumption and supply, and promote controlled domestic tourism.
