Youth development strategy put into reality

VGP – The PM has recently issued a plan to implement the second phase of the Viet Nam Youth Development Strategy (2016-2020).

The plan aims to adjust, supplement, and concretize the Viet Nam Youth Development Strategy in the 2011-2020 period in line with socio-economic development in the 2016-2020 period; define responsibilities of sectors, levels, agencies, organizations, and units.

The plan targets to educate the youth on revolutionary ideal, morals, cultural lifestyle, law obedience, social, personal and family responsibility; raise levels of culture, foreign languages, IT, and professional skills for the youth.

The document also looks to develop high-quality young manpower; and improve physical health, and life skills for the target group./.
