VWA to take over Project promoting inter-generation approach to improve disadvantaged groups' life

VNGOVNet – The PM has just agreed with the Vietnam Women's Association (VWA) to receive the Project "Promoting inter-generation approach to improve the disadvantaged groups' life in Vietnam".

The Project is granted with a nonrefundable aid of € 887,354 (equivalent to US$ 1,064,825) in which EC funds € 665,515 through the HelpAge International (HAI) (75% of the Project's budget). HAI pledged to mobilize € 221,838. The Project was permitted to import one car and three motorbikes.

The VWA was assinged to sign the Project's documents with the donor and closely collaborate with HAI in mobilizing the remaining 25% of the budget as well as implement the Project under current stipulations.
