VN’s Tourism Ambassador to France appointed

VGP - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on November 18 designated Anoa Suzanne Dussol Perran, President and CEO of An Hoa Tourism Company as tourism ambassador to France and awarded her an insignia for the cause of culture, sports and tourism.

At a meeting, MoCST Deputy Minister Vuong Duy Bien applauded Anoa’s contributions to the tourism sector, hoping that she will successfully assume her tasks during the three-year terms (2015-2018) as the way to promote the images of the country and its tourism and cultural attractions to the French public.

Anoa was born on February 19, 1957 in HCM City. She is President and CEO of An Hoa Tourism Company.

She moved to France at the age of four. During her time in the country, she had been successful in a variety of fields - design, home interior decoration, real estate and aviation services.

In 1992, after 35 years in France, Anoa returned to Viet Nam to work on the upgrading of the Metropole Hotel in Ha Noi.

In 1993, she became the first woman to fly 13,000 km on a helicopter from France to Viet Nam to seek opportunities to open flight services for tourists in the country.
