VND6,000 bln saved from simplified administrative procedures

VGP – As many as 18 million working days and more than VND6,000 billion have been saved every year as Vietnamese ministries have simplified administrative procedures and specialized examination procedures.

The figures were announced in the report of the PM’s working group on economic effectiveness from reduction and simplification of business conditions and specialized examination procedures. 

As of November, ministries submitted and issued 21 legal documents on eliminating and simplifying 6,776 among 9,926 specialized examination procedures, exceeding 36.5% of the set target. 

Ministries also issued three laws and 25 decrees to reduce and simplify 3,346 among 6,191 business conditions, exceeding 8.1% of the set target and a year-on-year increase of 11.1%. 

According to the plan, a total of 42 legal documents (16 laws and 26 decrees) on reducing and simplifying business conditions and seven documents (three decrees and four circulars) related to specialized examination procedures have not been issued. 

At present, eight out of 10 ministries have reported economic impacts brought by specialized examination works, saving 11,642,068 working days and VND5,407 billion per year.  

Seven out of 16 ministries have announced the economic impacts of reducing and simplifying business conditions, economizing 5,847,925 working days and VND872.2 billion per year.
