Accordingly, it plans to receive the first Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner and become the fourth in Asia and the fifth in the world to operate the aircraft.

The reception of the world's most modern aircraft is part of Viet Nam Airline’s strategies to upgrade its service quality, towards becoming a 5-star airline under Skytrax standard by 2020.

This is the largest version of the wide-body, two-aisle, and two-engine Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

For the upcoming Boeing 787-10 series, Viet Nam Airlines will arrange 24 business-class seats and 343 economy seats for the plane.

The 787-10 Dreamliner provides unmatched fuel efficiency, resulting in exceptional environment-friendly performance. The aircraft category uses 20 to 30% less fuel and has 20 to 30% fewer emissions than the airplanes they replace.

The VNA operates more than 360 daily flights with its young fleet of modern aircraft. It became an official member of SkyTeam Alliance in 2010, and was the first representative of the alliance in the Southeast Asian region.
