Vietnamese Minister of Planning and Investment Võ Hồng Phúc and UN’s Resident Coordinator John Hendra jointly sealed the HPPMG on May 6 in Hà Nội.

Addressing the signing ceremony, Minister Võ Hồng Phúc was convinced that HPPMG would simplify and harmonize management procedures for programs and projects conducted by three UN agencies - UNDP, UNICEF and UNFPA - in accordance with the Vietnamese Government’s current system.

Within the UN system, in Việt Nam or anywhere in the world, there ever has been such a set of program and project management practices that presents a high degree of alignment and harmonization, said Coordinator Hendra.

The HPPMG is a key element of the One Set of Management Practices – one of the five pillars of the ‘One UN’ Initiative that is being piloted in Việt Nam./.
