VN to promote tourism in Russia

The General Department of Tourism will introduce tourism policies, destinations, and tourism products to Russ ian visitors and seek cooperative opportunities for tourism enterprises. 

The program is expected to attract over 300 Vietnamese and Russian tourism enterprises.

Russia is a big and key tourism market of Viet Nam. Russia also takes the lead in Europe in the number of visitors to Viet Nam. Last year, over 600,000 Russian tourists arrived in Viet Nam, representing a year-on-year growth of 5.7%. In the first four months of 2019, Viet Nam welcomed over 273,000 Russian visitors, up 4.5% against the same period last year./.
