VN, Sweden talk of solutions for climate change

VGP – On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the diplomatic ties establishment between Việt Nam and Sweden, the Swedish Embassy and Hồ Chí Minh City’s People’s Committee jointly organized the conference “Green Solution” on October 1-2 with the aim of seeking for cooperative programs and partnership in the fields of environment and climate change.

Climate change is causing more and more negatives impacts on Việt Nam

Vietnamese and foreign environmentalists proposed mechanisms for clean development and raise funds for green energy solutions on collecting superfluous heat and energy to generate electric power; observing safety and security rules in automation; encouraging economical use of energies.

The conference also mentioned business initiatives and potential cooperative programs in such fields as energetic productivity, sewage and waste treatment, transportation, sustainable wood manufacture and improving public awareness of global climate change.
