The agreement, including 11 articles, aims to create favorable conditions for transporting goods by sea between the two nations.

Viet Nam and Sudan will recognize ship nationality and documents of the two sides.

On trade, the two counties will facilitate respective usage of equipment such as ports and bridges to serve loading and unloading cargo.

Besides, the agreement, allowing the Vietnamese businesses to invest in maritime services in Sudan and vice verse, has marked a breakthrough in enhancing cooperative relations, promoting economic and trade exchanges between a Southeast Asian nation and an African nation.
