VN strongly condemns inhumane acts against fishing boats

Spokesman of the Foreign Ministry Le Hai Binh made the statement while answering reporters’ query on Viet Nam’s response to the news saying that a fishing boat of fishermen in Ly Son Island was reportedly smashed and robbed by a Chinese vessel while they were fishing in their usual spots off the Hoang Sa (Paracel) Islands.

He said Vietnamese competent agencies are working to verify the news./.
