VN starts relief activities for Myanmar

VNGOP – As informed by the Government Office, Deputy PM, FM Phạm Gia Khiêm will attend the ASEAN-UN Ministerial Meeting on assistance to Myanmar scheduled on May 25 in Yangon.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will send its representatives to take part in a task force headed by the ASEAN Secretary General to implement the joint steering mechanism for international relief to Myanmar.

The Ministry of Health also dispatches working teams and medical equipments to Myanmar.
