VN, Slovakia talk of solutions to step up ties

VGP – As part of her working visit to Việt Nam, Slovak Republic’s State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Diana Strofova paid a courtesy visit to Deputy PM, FM Phạm Gia Khiêm this afternoon, August 12.

State Secretary Diana Strofova unveiled results of her morning successful talks with Deputy FM Nguyễn Quốc Cường, in which specific approaches were discussed to push up the multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

The two sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concerns and pledged to strengthen the close coordination between the two foreign ministries, the guest stated.

Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm revealed that Việt Nam is actively preparing the debut of its embassy in Slovakia, which is considered an effort to concretize its cooperation orientations with Slovakia, especially in economics, commerce and investment.

The host also acclaimed the inauguration of the Slovak Embassy in Việt Nam and regarded it as the important link for higher relations, commensurate to the two nations’ potentialities and desire.
