VN, Russia intensify partnership in technology, environment

VGP – The Viet Nam National Assembly’s Committee for Science, Technology and Environment on April 17 held talks with a delegation from the Russian State Duma Committee for Energy, led by Vice Chairman of the Russian committee Levchenko Sergey Georgievich.

Welcoming the Russian delegation, Chairman of the Vietnamese Committee Phan Xuan Dung said he hopes the guests' visit will promote the traditional relationship of the two sides.

While praising achievements of Viet Nam, Mr. Levchenko Sergey Georgievich stressed on concrete cooperation to strengthen the two countries's Strategic Partnership.

The two sides agreed to enhance supervision in the fields of technology, environment, oil and gas, nuclear power and national security and diversify methods to train human resources.

They will also boost supervision of signed agreements, share experience in judiciary and establish future cooperative activities.
