VN, Russia hold political consultation

VGP – Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son and his Russian counterpart on Tuesday co-chaired a regular political consultation to discuss measures to boost the relations between the two countries.

Both sides agreed to step up the implementation of joint projects and improve legal framework for the bilateral ties.

They also exchanged views on international issues, situation in Asia-Pacific and other issues of common concern.

The two Deputy Foreign Ministers spoke highly of coordination between Viet Nam and Russia at the United Nations, APEC, EAS, ARF, ASEM, ADMM, Shangri-La among others.

They vowed to maintain regular political consultation within the framework of cooperation between the two Foreign Ministries./.
