Accordingly, Việt Nam and the RoK will boost their exchange of oil identification methods, enhance competence and effectiveness of their responding systems, and reciprocate experience of making policies on legal framework and international conventions.
In March 2008, the PM decided to establish the General Department of Sea and Islands which will be in charge of sea and island management.

And it is believed that the cooperation with the RoK and other countries will help this State management agency play its role in protecting marine environment.
