VN respects Pakistani’s aspiration and decision

VGP – Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf’s announcement on August 18 of his resignation is an internal affair of Pakistan, said the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Spokesman, adding that Việt Nam observes the aspiration and decision of the Pakistani people and Mr. Musharraf.

Mr. Lê Dũng made the statement on August 19 while answering correspondents’ question about Việt Nam’s response to President Pervez Musharraf’s announcement.

“We hope that the situations in Pakistan can come to stability soon so that Pakistani people can promote their national development,” concluded the Spokesman.
