With 23,000 tons and US $104 million in the earliest two months, Việt Nam’s export of cashew nut was on the rise, up 12% and 6% respectively compared to the same period last year.
However, VINACAS predicts a possible decrease due to declining demands of major importers in the US, EU, and China.
In addition, owing to negative impacts of bad whether, the yield is estimated to stand around 200,000 to 250,000 tons of cashew nut.
