VN, NZ accelerate multifaceted cooperation

VGP - New Zealand’s Deputy PM Bill English has confirmed that his country will boost education cooperation with Viet Nam and closely work with Viet Nam in making Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement negotiations successful.

He made the confirmation at a reception given by PM Nguyen Tan Dung in Ha Noi on September 16.

The PM applauded developments in the two countries' multifaceted relationship.

He asserted that the Vietnamese Government will cooperate with New Zealand to launch effectively agreements for the sake of the two sides.

The PM suggested strengthening cooperation in terms of economics, trade, investment, agriculture and aviation.

He said he hoped that New Zealand will provide more scholarships for Vietnamese students and enhance exchange activities.

The Vietnamese leader proposed the two nations closely coordinate and support each other at regional forums and hoped that New Zealand will support Viet Nam in issues related to the East Sea.

The New Zealand Deputy PM affirmed that New Zealand places importance to strengthening cooperation with Viet Nam.

The two countries should help each other in the cooperation and development process, especially in the fields of economics, trade and investment, he stressed.
