VN looks to increase legislative ties with Bulgaria

VNGOP – Standing Deputy PM Nguyễn Sinh Hùng delivered on June 12 in Hanoi a reception to Chairman of the Children, Youth and Sports Affairs Committee of the Bulgarian National Assembly Svetoslav Ivanov Spassov.

Deputy PM Nguyễn Sinh Hùng expressed his hope that Bulgaria will dispatch more high-ranking delegations to Vietnam to cement the bilateral ties.

According to him, over the  past time, Vietnam and Bulgaria have closely cooperated in various fields, especially health, science, agriculture, industry in which the two countries have huge potential and advantages.

"Bulgaria is playing an increasingly important role in the EU while Vietnam is a powerful member of ASEAN. These are good advantages for the two countries' businesses to access European and Asian markets" stressed Deputy PM Nguyễn Sinh Hùng.

The Deputy PM also showed his desire to increase legislative ties between Vietnam and Bulgaria, so that to strengthen and boost the friendship between the two States, Governments, peoples and business communities.

Mr. Svetoslav Ivanov Spasov who is also the Vice President of the Bulgaria-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Group emphasized that Bulgaria is much interested in Vietnam's potential for economic development. He expected that his visit to Vietnam will bring about good chances for bilateral cooperation.
