VN, Laos plan to upgrade border landmarks in 2008

VNGOP – Vietnamese and Lao experts had discussions from February 14-17 in Vientiane to realize the 2008 project to plant and upgrade the Việt Nam-Laos landmark system under an agreement between the two governments.

The two sides obtained high consensus in closely working together to plant 59 out of the total 826 landmarks in their ten couples of border provinces this year.

The project reflects special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, States and peoples, contributing to the formation of a common border line of peace, friendship and cooperation.
