VN, Israel cooperate in science, technology

VGP – Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh and Israeli Minister of Science, Technology and Space Ofir Akunis on July 25 inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on science and technology cooperation in Israel.

The signing ceremony is a crucial event in enhancing cooperation in science and technology in fields of mutual concerns such as high technology, aquatic processing, health science and renewable energy.

The MoU focuses on sharing and exchanging information related to science and technology and encouraging direct cooperative activities between universities and research organizations.

Accordingly, the Viet Nam-Israel Joint Committee on Economics, Science and Technology will propose specific decisions and realize joint research studies, said Mr. Ofir Akunis.

He asserted that the MoU will open a new era between the two sides’ science and technology sector.
