According to FruchtPortal, 200,000 ha of coconut trees are grown in Việt Nam
The export of Vietnamese fruits and vegetables has surged since November 2009 due to the higher global demand. Việt Nam’s fruits are now available in 30 Asian, European and North American markets.

FruchtPortal also highly appreciated the establishment of the Việt Nam Coconut Association, considering it an important factor to promote the development of the local coconut industry, assist coconut producers, processors and traders, and protect legitimate interests of its members.

According to FruchtPortal, 200,000 ha of coconut trees are grown in Việt Nam, mainly in the Mekong Delta and southern coast. And Germany is a great importer of coconut to serve its liquor making industry.
