VN hails ceasefire in Gaza Strip

VGP – Việt Nam has welcomed the ceasefire agreed upon by the Israeli Government and Hamas, and hopes that all concerned parties respect the declaration so that the daily lives of those in the region could return to normal as soon as possible.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lê Dũng made the statement today while informing the press of Việt Nam’s reaction to the news of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

“With the international efforts, we call upon the concerned parties to negotiate and find a solution to arrive at a long-standing ceasefire, in order to contribute to a peaceful and stable Middle East,” the spokesman said./.
