VN, France shake hands in nuclear development for peaceful purposes

VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng recently ratified an agreement between the Governments of Việt Nam and France on development and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

The agreement was inked on November 12, 2009 in Hà Nội under the witness of the two PMs during the official visit of French PM Francois Fillon to Việt Nam.

The Ministry of Science and Technology has been assigned to take responsibility for providing guidelines for the implementation of the agreement after its ratification./
