VN, Finland sign air transport agreement

The agreement was inked  by Vietnamese Transport Minister Dinh La Thang and Finnish Economic Affairs Minister Jan Vapaavuori.

It comprises 26 articles and an appendix on a number of regulations including transport rights, appointed airlines and aircraft, fees, equal competition rules and air safety.

The agreement will help create favourable conditions for assigned airlines to take advantage of aviation markets and third party markets, and promote bilateral cooperation in economy, trade, tourism and cultural exchange.

Earlier, Minister of Transport Dinh La Thang and Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs Jan Vapaavuori reviewed transport cooperation between Viet Nam and Finland in the past few years.
