VN expresses grave concerns over DPRK’s missile test

VGP – Viet Nam has expressed grave concerns over the launch of intercontinental ballistic missile by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang told a room of reporters on Thursday.

Hang went on to say that the launch seriously violated the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and has intensified tensions in the region.

Viet Nam consistently supports all efforts to accelerate dialogues and maintain peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and calls on relevant parties to strictly comply with the United Nations Security Council’s resolutions and take practical and constructive actions to contribute to peace, security and stability in the region and the world, she said.

Asked about Viet Nam’s reaction to the Sinai mosque bomb blast in Egypt, the Spokesperson said Viet Nam strongly condemns this deadly attack.

Viet Nam expressed deep condolences to the Government, people and families of the victims, Hang said, adding that culprits must be strictly punished./.
