VN-Czech trade value up nearly 13% in 2018

VGP – Viet Nam-Czech trade value in 2018 reached nearly US$1.172 billion, up 12.9% against the previous year, according to the recent statistics from the Czech Statistical Office.

The Czech Republic's exports to Viet Nam witnessed an increase of 32.7% against the previous year, attaining US$140.7 million. 

In 2017, the two-way trade value was estimated at US$1.12 billion. Since 2015, the bilateral trade value has seen a stable growth exceeding 10%. 

The Czech Republic's key export items to Viet Nam included recorders, cameras and TV, worth more than US$64.7 million. 

Meanwhile, Viet Nam mainly exported audio-visual electronic equipment products to the Czech Republic gaining US$365.5 million and footwear with US$229.8 million.
