VN-Czech trade value exceeds US$464 million in five months

VGP – Viet Nam-Czech trade value in the first five months of 2018 reached more than US$464 million, a year-on-year increase of 15.6%, according to Viet Nam’s trade office in the Czech Republic.

Viet Nam mainly exported aquatic and agricultural products, coffee, rubber, mechanics, electronics and footwear to the Czech Republic.

Electronics and footwear are key export items of Viet Nam to the country with the export value of US$140 million and US$110.6 million, respectively. 

The Czech Republic's key export items to Viet Nam included electronics, mechanics, plastic products, military equipment, seeds and pharmaceutical products. 

In 2017, the two-way trade value set a record of over US$1 billion, up 12% against the previous year.
