VN congratulates Mr. Dimitry Medvedev

VNGOP – In the March 04 message of congratulations to Mr. D. Medvedev upon his election to the post of President of the Russian Federation, State President Nguyễn Minh Triết expressed his confidence that the strategic partnership between Việt Nam and Russia will be consolidated and strengthened.

On the same day, answering reporters’ questions about the event, Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lê Dũng stated that Việt Nam warmly welcomed and congratulated Mr. Dimitry Medvedev.

“We strongly believe that, under the leadership of President Medvedev, Russia will gain more significant achievements and become a powerful country,” Mr. Lê Dũng said.

In the conclusion, the Spokesman stressed that Việt Nam hopes that the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation in the spirit of the strategic partnership between Việt Nam and Russia will continue to develop well, in the interests of the two peoples.
