VN condemns terrorist attacks in Europe
VGP – Viet Nam is deeply concerned and strongly condemns continuous terror attacks in Europe, including the recent knife attack against some civilians in Turku, Finland on August 18.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang made the statement on August 22 when asked about Viet Nam’s response to the attack causing some deaths and injuries.
“We offer our condolences to the Government and people of Finland and the bereaved, expecting that the terrorists will be strictly punished,” she said.
According to the report of the Vietnamese Embassy in Finland, no Vietnamese citizens were victims of the attack.
The Foreign Ministry has directed the embassy to keep a close watch on relevant developments and prepare emergency support when needed, she said.
