VN, China wrap up meeting for land border demarcation

The two sides reviewed their work over the first six months of 2007, and agreed to speed up the schedule in order to have the roadmap completed by the end of the year. The meeting put forth some specific plans to be carried out in the remaining six months.

Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Ministry Vũ Dũng received the two delegations and witnessed the signing of the meeting’s minutes on August 3.

The 22nd chairman-level session of the Việt Nam-China Joint Committee is scheduled to be held in Beijing, and the time and agenda for the meeting will be set through the two sides’ diplomatic channels.
