VN, China trade forum to open in October

The forum will welcome a Guangdong business delegation led by the Province’s Governor Huang Huahua. Meanwhile, the Vietnamese delegation would comprise the Government’s senior officials, representatives of ministries, leaders of Cao Bằng, Lạng Sơn and Quảng Ninh provinces, business associations and enterprises.

Guangdong intends to send a team of over 200 major companies operating in fields such as tourism, trade, engineering, handicrafts, consultancy, foodstuff, healthcare, consumer goods, textile, construction and building materials, petro-chemistry, mineral water, transport, and electric lamps.

Earlier, the VCCI and China’s Hainan Province held a similar forum in Hà Nội to boost the economic and trade cooperation between Việt Nam and the Chinese province.

The two sides signed a number of memoranda of understanding on automobile, coal and mineral, and 18 other cooperation deals.
