VN, China discuss ways to spur bilateral ties

VGP – Deputy PM Pham Binh Minh left Ha Noi on April 16 to co-chair the tenth meeting of Viet Nam-China Steering Committee on Cooperation with Chinese State Council Yang Jiechi from April 16-18.

At the meeting, the two sides will review the cooperation from the ninth meeting and talk orientations and measures to accelerate the implementation of signed agreements and common awareness of senior leaders of the two Parties and States.

Both sides will also discuss ways to beef up bilateral cooperation on the basis of equality and mutual benefits, in favor of respective development goals.

Since the ninth meeting which was held last June in Ha Noi, the bilateral ties progressed positively. Senior officials maintained regular contacts and reached important consensus in promoting the strategic partnership in a stable and sound manner.

The exchanges among ministries, agencies, and localities have been promoted. Cooperation in economics, trade, investment, and tourism has been enhanced./.
