VN celebrates 58th anniversary of diplomatic ties with China

VNGOP – In 2008, the friendship and cooperation between Việt Nam and China will be developed to a new height to meet the two peoples’ aspiration and interests, and for the sake of peace, friendship, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

Vice Chairman of the Việt Nam-China Friendship Association Bùi Hồng Phúc made the statement at the meeting to celebrate the 58^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries (January 18, 1950-January 18, 2008) on January 16 in Hà Nội.

The ceremony was attended by leaders of the Việt Nam Union of Friendship Associations, representatives of the Central Committee for External Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; some businesses, Chinese Ambassador to Việt Nam and many employees from the Chinese Embassy.
