VN, Cambodia complete 84% of border demarcation, marker planting

VGP - Deputy Minister and Chairman of the National Boundary Commission under the Foreign Ministry Le Hoai Trung and Cambodian Senior Minister in charge of border affairs Var Kim Hong signed a minutes of the meeting of the Viet Nam-Cambodia Joint Committee on Land Border Demarcation and Marker Planting on March 31.

At the meeting, the two sides affirmed highest determination and efforts to complete 84% of the border demarcation and marker planting and legalize the accomplishment.

They reviewed the implementation of the work over the past time and agreed to put forth orientations, plans and roadmap, measures to carry out the work in the coming time.

They also reached an agreement on building legal documents recognizing the outcome of the border demarcation and maker planting.
