VN, Andorra set up diplomatic relations

VNGOP - Vietnamese Ambassador to France Nguyễn Đình Bin and Andorran Ambassadress Imma Tor Foxor signed a joint communique to set up diplomatic ties between the two countries in Paris on June 12. This is an important event which helps boost friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The move reflected the two countries' desire to increase their cooperation, contributing to peace, stability and development in the region and the world. 

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Ambassador Nguyễn Đình Bin emphasized that this historical event marks a start of a new development trend in bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Andorra. He added that this is a part in Vietnam's policy to multilateralize and diversify external relations and to become truthful friend and partner of all countries in the world.

Andorran Ambassadress Imma Tor Foxor expressed her delight at the good development of the two countries' relationship. She said this would create opportunities to develop cooperation in bilateral and multilateral frameworks through international organizations, including the United Nations and the International Organization of Francophone (OIF).
