Viettel ranked 36th among 746 mobile operators worldwide

In Southeast Asia, Viettel is the 4^th biggest mobile operator among 51. It is expected to stand in the world’s Top 30 list ahead of schedule – before 2015.

A brand of Viettel in Cambodia, Mefone, was ranked the 2^nd biggest among eight mobile service providers in the country of Angkor Wat. Mefone currently has 1.8 million subscribers.

In Laos, Viettel is making infrastructure preparations to launch UNITEL brand in October, becoming the 4^th operator in this potential market.

UNITEL is the 3^rd brand of Viettel after five years of participation in mobile markets.
