Vietnamese, Japanese localities enhance relations

Deputy PM Minh extended his congratulations on the association’s 20th anniversary and spoke highly of its role and efforts in promoting people-to-people exchanges and boosting economic and cultural relations between Kansai region and Viet Nam.

He expressed his gratitude to the association’s support to overseas Vietnamese studying, working and living in Kansai, as well as to the Viet Nam Consulate General in the region.

The host proposed the association to further exchanges and links between provinces and cities in the region and Viet Nam, call on  Japanese businesses to invest in Viet Nam's in hi-tech and support industry.

Nishimura noted that the delegation’s visit to Viet Nam was significant to celebrate the association’s 20th anniversary. He promised to intensify efforts to promote relations with Viet Nam in different fields, particularly in economics, culture and people-to-people exchange. He also wanted the Vietnamese Government to continue facilitating Japanese businesses's investment and expansion of business in Viet Nam.
