Vietnamese Economic and Cultural Office in Taiwan announces hotline

VGP – There have been no reports on any Vietnamese injured or killed after a 6.5-magnitude quake occurred in Taiwan on February 7, according to Viet Nam’s Economic and Cultural Office in Taiwan.

The quake left two dead, 241 injured, and 145 others missing, the office said.

The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs directed the office to continue close watch on the situation there for timely assistance to Vietnamese nationals in case of necessity.

The office also launched a hotline 00886988579362 to receive information on Vietnamese citizens./.
