Vietnamese ambassador to DPRK presents credentials

VGP - Vietnamese Ambassador to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Le Ba Vinh October 18 presented his letter of credence to Kim Yong-nam, President of the Presidium of the DPRK’s Supreme People’s Assembly in Pyongyang.

Kim Yong-nam congratulated Vinh on his new mission while praising the tradition of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and Viet Nam, nurtured by President Kim Il Sung and President Ho Chi Minh, that has been fundamental to expanding bilateral ties even today.

He affirmed his country’s unwavering stance on developing ties with Viet Nam and showed his belief that with the combined efforts by the two nations’ leaders and peoples, bilateral ties would grow and flourish in the future.  He said with confident that Ambassador Vinh will make great contribute to the efforts.

In turn, the new Vietnamese ambassador told his host that the Party, State, and people of Viet Nam always treasure the traditional friendship with the DPRK and pledged his best efforts to promote the relationship between the two countries.
