Việt Nam to host Int’l Biology Olympiad 2016

VGP – Việt Nam will host the International Biology Olympiad in 2016 for the first time, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng affirmed lately.

Việt Nam to host the International Science Olympiad in 2016

The PM requests the Ministry of Education and Training, functioning as the main implementer, to collaborate with related agencies, localities and the Việt Nam Biological Branches Association to well-prepare for the event.

The International Biology Olympiad (IBO) is one of five annual competitions designed for the best 4-5 high-school students from each participating country.

In the IBO 2009 organized in Japan, the Vietnamese delegation was honored with high results of 1 silver medal and 3 bronze.

As reported, Việt Nam expects to host the International Chemistry Olympiads in 2014.
