Viet Nam Reports 10 New COVID-19 Cases, 15 Recoveries

VGP – Viet Nam confirmed ten new imported cases of COVID-19, bringing the national patient tally to 2,801.

The latest patients include a 20-year-old Indian man who flew from India to the United Arab Emirates and then took a flight to Ha Noi on April 6.

He is being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

All the others patients are Vietnamese repatriated from the U.S. (two), Japan (four), Romania (two), and India (one).

The same day, 15 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery, taking the total recoveries to 2,490. These patients shall continue self-isolation at their places of residence for the next 14 days as currently regulated./.
