Viet Nam confirms 155 new COVID-19 cases

The number of daily new COVID19 cases from June 1-16

The latest patients include six Vietnamese returnees, two of them were brought home from Japan and the UK and the rest returned home via land border gates in the southern provinces of Kien Giang and Tay Ninh.

All the others are domestic infection cases recorded in Bac Giang (90), Ho Chi Min City (45), Bac Ninh (10), Nghe An (2), Ha Nam (one), and Bac Kan (one).

The same day, the ministry reported 47 recoveries, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 4,590.

The death toll stood at 61./.
