U.S. President receives VN’s newly-appointed Ambassador

VGP – U.S. President Donald Trump hailed the developments in Viet Nam-U.S. Comprehensive Partnership at his reception for Vietnamese Ambassador to the U.S. Ha Kim Ngoc on September 17 in Washington, the U.S.

The newly-appointed Vietnamese Ambassador handed over State President Tran Dai Quang’s letter of credentials to the U.S. President. 

President Trump expressed thanks to the Vietnamese State and people for their warm welcome for him while attending the APEC High Level Week and during his official visit to Viet Nam in November 2017. 

The Vietnamese Ambassador conveyed greetings by Vietnamese senior leaders to the US leader.

The Viet Nam-U.S. Comprehensive Partnership is developing strongly and actively thanks to mutual understanding and effective cooperation across fields, at both bilateral relations and international issues of mutual concerns, he said. 

Viet Nam is willing to work with the U.S. to boost win-win cooperation, for the interests of their peoples, and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world, he asserted.
