UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova to visit VN

VGP – UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova is scheduled to make an official visit to Viet Nam from August 24-27 with an aim to foster cooperation with the Southeast Asian country, Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang said at a press conference on Thursday.

During the visit, Irina will meet with senior Vietnamese leaders and have working sessions in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.

She will also attend the signing ceremony of an agreement on establishment of the category 2 center on maths and physics in Viet Nam, which is an international honor for Vietnamese intellects./.
