Two new anti-double taxation deals approved

VGP – The PM lately agreed with the Agreements on Prevention of Double Taxation and Income Tax Evasion between the Governments of Việt Nam and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Tunisian Republic.

Earlier, the agreements between Việt Nam and Saudi Arabia as well as Việt Nam and Tunisia were separately inked in Riyadh on April 10, 2010 and in Tunis on April 13, 2010 respectively.

The signing of double taxation avoidance agreements with Saudi Arabia and Tunisia is to boost trade and investment linkages and generate transparent legal climate for investment and business activities between the two sides.

The agreements also target to prevent trade frauds and evasion levied on income and assets./.
