Trade promotion conference held in Thai Binh

VGP – The Thai Binh province People’s Committee on October 17 organized a trade promotion conference with the attendance of hundreds of foreign and domestic investors.

In 2013, the province attracted 736 projects, worth VND102,000 billion, creating 143,000 jobs and ranking ninth in terms of investment.

The province’s total Gross Domestic Product attained VND27,720 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.5%.

To improve the investment environment, strengthen trade promotion activities and attract more investors, the province continues to accelerate administrative reform and adjust the policy to facilitate the operation of businesses.

The local authority issued the list of 21 crucial projects to call for investors in fields of electronics, auxiliary industry, mining, agriculture, infrastructure, healthcare and environment.

Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai attended and made a speech at the event.
